INDIAN BENCHMARKS MARKET WRAP-UP UPDATES


INDIAN BENCHMARKS: SENSEX ENDS 260 POINTS UP,NIFTY 50 ABOVE 7800

Tracking the proceedings in Asian markets ahead of the holiday season, the 30-share S&P BSE Sensex closed at 25,850.30, up 259.65 points or 1.01 per cent, on Wednesday. The broader market barometer, Nifty50, rose 7,865.95 points or 1.03 per cent. 

GAIL, BHEL, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel and Tata Steel were the top gainers on Sensex, up 5.75 per cent, 3.52 per cent, 3.43 per cent, 2.72 per cent and 2.68 per cent, respectively, while M&M, Adani Ports and SEZ and Asian Paints were key losers, down 0.75 per cent, 0.49 per cent and 0.31 per cent.

The crucial resistance for Nifty Trading Tips SPOT is now seen at 7912 and above this 7979 Support for the immediate term is now placed at 7835 and next support will be 7770.
