Jet Airways Q3 profit at record high
Jet Airways (India) reported third consecutive profitable quarter in a row and posted highest ever quarterly profit as the country’s second largest airline by passengers carried benefited from lower fuel prices, higher traffic and increased aircraft utilization.
The airline’s profit soared by more than 7 times at Rs467.11 crore in the three months ended December, compared with a profit of Rs63.11 crore in the year-ago quarter.
The record profit was notched up on a 7.77% increase in sales to Rs5, 443.97 crore from Rs5, 051.02 crore a year ago.
PTC India reports Strong Q3 earnings
PTC India reported a strong earnings growth (adj PAT grew by 24% YoY) to Rs45 crore in Q3FY2016, which is primarily driven by 26% growth in power trading volume.
Though the power trading volume was 24% better over last year, the average power tariff was lower by 18%; consequently, the revenue grew by 4% only.
